Young Fast received LGE’s 2009 Quality Innovation Award

January 11, 2010- Young Fast received 2009 Quality Innovation Award for component suppliers from LG Electronics’ Mobile Communication (MC) division in Korea, for its high-quality touch panel products and service to help LG promote touch-screen mobiles. The prize was awarded by K.C. Han, VP of Quality Team in the MC division. T.J. Lin, Chairman of Young Fast attended the awarding ceremony and committed to continuously focus on quality and raising touch-screen mobile penetration with its customer in 2010.

The Quality Innovation Award is to honor Young Fast for its superior quality and service assisting MC division to assure high quality standard. The award was set up for LGE’s over 200 handset component suppliers. Assessment criteria include performance index in prototyping, mass production, and quality issue processing. Of the 73 suppliers attending the ceremony, Young Fast was one of the two receiving Quality Award. Of note, Young Fast is the first supplier in Taiwan to be rewarded since its introduction.
 
LG has been promoting touch-screen mobiles since its PRADA phone was launched and led the trend in touch and flat-surface mobiles in 2007. LG ranked No 1 in touch-screen mobile penetration in 2009 and has invested significant resource in developing touch-screen mobiles. LGE expects its touch-screen mobile sales to grow by 25% in 2010 and continue drive the group’s growth.

T.J. Lin, Chairman of Young Fast, addressed in the ceremony and thanked MC division’s support in the past years, so that the company can grow and prosper with LGE. “Young Fast will leverage its five advantages- technology, quality, service, flexibility and efficiency- to collaborate with all of LGE’s handset component suppliers to propel high-quality touch-screen mobiles’ adoption going forward”, said T.J.
