Taoyuan, Taiwan, July 3, 2009- With regard to the recent speculations concerning Young Fast Optoelectronics, here is our statement.
The allegations from Taiwan news paper regarding Young Fast Optoelectronics been searched by judiciary authority are totally unfounded. As of today, neither the Corporation, nor any of its employees have received summon or investigation request from the local authority in that regards.
Meanwhile, there were speculations about settlement default of Young Fast’s major shareholder, CID, on 26th June, 2009. This had been proven wrong by TWSE that there was no settlement default of Young Fast shares.
Young Fast reserves all legal rights to claim the civil and criminal responsibility of the rumormonger. Young Fast also requests FSC (Financial Supervisory Commission) to investigate in this case to protect the legitimate rights of Young Fast’s shareholders.
